The Puutarhafest music program opens with Tuomas Skopa, who takes the stage with his guitar from 11:00 to 11:30.

Skopa performs songs gathered along life’s crossroads, alongside tenderly delivered children’s tunes. With his guitar and a songbook where the notes sometimes wander a little out of place, he invites listeners into a world where the familiar twists into something unexpected. In Skopa’s hands, well-known covers take on playful new shapes, encouraging us to see things from a different angle.

Nature and music meet in a powerful experience as the five-member band Kasvu weaves together the roots of folk music with today’s stories. This quintet, skillful at creating evocative moods, performs on the Puutarhafest stage on Saturday, August 30th, from 16:30 to 17:15.
