Arrival on foot

The best way to get to the event area on foot is either via Vantinpuisto or Vanha Nissintie. The event area is not fenced, and all the usual walking routes in Vantinlaakso are open throughout the event. During the biggest rush hours, the pedestrian paths may become temporarily busy, but movement in the park is still smooth.

The gravel road section of Vanha Nissintie has a traffic control point that monitors car traffic heading to the area. This can also slow down the progress of pedestrians. Although the road may look closed, you can also travel on foot or by bicycle. However, be careful of cars moving on the dirt road.

Arrival by bicycle

The best way to get to the event area by bicycle is either via Vantinpuisto or Vanha Nissintie. There are two bicycle parks near the festival area:Bicycle park A: along Vanha NissintieBicycle park B: in the Vantinlaakso parking area, next to the Vantinpuisto playgroundTraffic controllers will help you find the bicycle parks if necessary. Remember to pay attention to pedestrians as you arrive in the area. The bicycle parks are monitored, but parking is at your own risk.

Services for cyclists

Bicycle maintenance training (10 a.m.–6 p.m.): The City of Espoo and RD Physics offer free guidance on basic bicycle maintenance, such as patching a tire, lubricating chains and adjusting brakes. The goal is to make maintenance easy, extend the life of bicycles and promote the circular economy.

Road Safety (10 a.m.–4 p.m.): Test your knowledge of safe travel, collect stamps for your bicycle inspection card and get tips for an environmentally friendly daily life.

Arrival by car

There is a small number of free parking spaces on the sports field of Vanttila school. Driving to the parking area is guided by traffic controllers via Vantinlaaksontie. The navigator can be set to the address Vantinlaaksontie 28. The distance from the parking area to the event area is approx. 500m.

In order to ensure smooth parking, the spaces are filled in the order determined by the traffic controllers. Please note that in case of rain, the field will be closed to protect the sports field.

Accessible parking

There is a limited number of accessible parking spaces within the event area, which can be accessed via the Vanha Nissintie traffic control point (Nissintie 30).Accessible parking requires an appropriate badge. Please note that the City Garden area is not entirely accessible.

Traffic arrangements

There are special arrangements in the area to ensure smooth traffic. Follow the instructions of the traffic controllers and official traffic signs. Vantinpuisto (city garden service road) is closed to car traffic. However, you can normally access the properties. The Nissintie gravel road is only open to pedestrians and cyclists. Only event traffic and guests entitled to accessible parking can get there by car. Accessible parking requires an appropriate badge.
