Kiertokulku – The Flow of Life along the Espoo River
Kiertokulku (Cycle) is a new kind of nature trail suitable for the whole family, guiding walkers through the cycle of life—from birth to growth, change, and finally, a new beginning. It's not just a regular walking path, but an invitation to pause: to watch the water flow, feel the bark of the trees, and listen to the silent rustle of the old aspens.
The trail is approximately 800 meters long and open to everyone, winding along the Espoo River through eight different stops. Each stop awakens the senses and offers a glimpse into nature's cyclical wisdom. You can walk the trail at your own pace and in any order that feels right to you. Every stop provides a moment for reflection, wonder, and insight. Nature shows us how life is born, grows, transforms, and eventually returns to become part of everything. The Kiertokulku trail gives you the opportunity to experience these stages as a living part of our surroundings, a sensory journey.
The Kiertokulku trail is part of the Eloisa Espoo environmental project. The trail opens on August 29th as part of the Espoo Day celebration and will be accessible after Espoo Day as well. You can best ensure your Kiertokulku experience by arriving at the trail's opening on August 29th at 6:00 PM.
Welcome to walk—not somewhere far away, but somewhere completely new.
