Welcome to enjoy music, circus, working together and interesting environmental talk! Nature, the environment and working together will take center stage at the family-wide event with a program for all ages.
In the stage program, children are entertained by a good-natured, long-line children's musician and storyteller Ville Karttunen and a variety of children's music Count of Bouncy Castle. Ville Karttunen is a children's musician and storyteller whose good humor captures the attention of the children's audience, encouraging them to sing along. At the gigs of the Count of Bouncy Castle, you can dance and bounce to a great extent! The music of the latest album, Mandarin Day, ranges from the depths of the Afro-beat to the heights of the Andes and through the Cuban carnival to the sound of Balkan horns.
In the early evening on the stage show, the lovely Jutta Rahmel as well as Janne Masalin and Patterns. Artist, composer and chanteuse Jutta Rahmel's new music moves naturally between atmospheric indie folk and songwriter pop. Janne Masalin's songs are composed of supple beats, rocking live music and hokem. Doing band gigs is adapted to a rough rock band.
The speech of the Youth Council of Espoo and the performance of Activist Mums, which encourages climate action through hope, will also be heard on stage. Activist Momsmovement was born in 2019 when a group of grandmothers discovered that only young people were concerned about climate change. The main themes of the activities of activist moms are moderation and hope, as well as grandma vision. By their own example and sharing research-based knowledge, activist moms want to secure a viable world for all grandchildren. It also occurs in the area Espoo Circus and Theatre School Eskon Young circus artists of the gig group.
In addition, the event hosts nature-themed art workshops for children of different ages: a sensory space for babies and toddlers, and a construction workshop for children over 3 years old. The event will also feature a one-size-fits-all insect hotel workshop and nature-themed showpoints. The area has a functional picnic area with things to do for the kids and places to hang out for the whole family. There are also barbecues in the area, bring your own snacks with you!

The event launches the Eloisa Espoo (Vibrant Espoo) activity, which promotes the well-being of nature and diversity of the inhabitants by participating, for example, to restoring meadows and planting trees. Vibrant Espoo will produce experiential environmental events, art and information during 2024 and 2025. At the event, you can register for the upcoming events of the campaign, including planting trees in September!
After the event, the Eloisa Espoo Movie Festival will be organised in collaboration with Espoo Ciné at Tapiola's wading pool from 20:00 onwards. In the twilight of August, we watch Virpi Suutari's documentary film Children of the Forest.
